Do I need an appointment to consign my items?

Yes, we are appointment only. Appointment scheduling opens on the 15th of the month for the following month. Please call 206.933.7479 and leave a voicemail to schedule your appointment. We will call you back in the order your call was received to discuss what you're hoping to consign. Do not call continually; the phone line is in constant use.

Do you accept everything year-round?

No, we accept items seasonally. Our general guideline is:

  • Spring: March to May
  • Summer: May to August
  • Fall: September to November
  • Winter: December to February

How should I bring my items?

Remember that you are selling to us first. Your appointment is for no more than 20 items, including shoes and accessories. Please bring your items on hangers or nicely folded in a reusable bag - we do not accept items brought in plastic bags. Our shoppers love wearing their purchases right out the door, so we only accept freshly laundered items free of stains, smells, pet hair, rips, tears, excessive wrinkles and other damage. Please launder, lint roll, and empty pockets prior to your appointment.

How long are my items for sale?

Our Consignment Contracts are 60 days; refer to your account to know what date your contract ends, and to pick up your items.

How will I know if my items sell?

It is your responsibility to keep track of your items and store credit by viewing your account.

When do I get paid?

You accrue Consignor Credit as items sell at 40%, which can be used at any time. For a check payout, you will receive 30%. To request a check, call the store AFTER your contract ends (the date is on your Contract) giving at least 24 hours notice.

What happens at the end of my Contract?

You'll either pick up any unsold items within 7 days of the end of your Contract, or we are happy to donate them for you. Items left longer than a week are donated to Lifelong Thrift.
